Hello, My name is Ruth Garza and I am currently a dyslexia lab teacher at Lopez-Riggins Elementary.  I have been teaching for 10 years and am excited about finally completing a Masters degree in Education Technology.  This wiki is serves as my e-portfolio, which has served as a coursework interactive platform to collaborate with instructors and fellow colleges as I worked towards my degree.  A compilation of all my individual assignments and team projects completed through the MSTTPS Go! Program as well as my current program of study are archived in this website. I believe that technology plays an important in education and that it's our responsibility, as educators, to equip ourselves with the necessary knowledge and skills to integrate technology in the classroom.   Students must be exposed to 21st century technology tools and applications to be able to compete globally where technology is continuously changing.

E-Portfolio's Purpose

The purpose of my e-portfolios is to document all the completed assignments and projects during the coursework for the M.Ed. Educational Technology degree.  All the chronicled work demonstrates how I have been able to put in practice all the knowledge and skills learned through my journey in becoming an Educational Technology professional.
